Amazing gem of a hotel with a great restaurant downstairs. Check-in was efficient and personal, which was a nice touch. Room was clean, warm, and well equipped. Ate in the restaurant for dinner. Set menu on a Tuesday which was a little disappointing as I'd seen the a la carte menu on the internet and really wanted to to try it, however the set menu was delicious, and great value for money (although no choice, so good job I liked what was on the menu!) All the staff were great, so friendly and welcoming. Bed really comfy and I slept well. Breakfast was delicious again, good selection to pick from. I had salmon and poached eggs.
